JOINT SAHB and AHG EUROPEAN CONFERENCE: 26-28 May 2017

The AHG and the SAHB are proud to invite you to their first joint European conference for automotive history, to be held in the Cité de l’Automobile, 15 Rue de l’Épée, 68100 Mulhouse, France, from 26-28 May 2017, with invitations extended to AISA (Italy), AHA (Australia), CONAM (The Netherlands), the SAH (USA), as well as other interested organisations and individuals. To further international discourse, it is the aim of the conference that presentations will cover subjects which have a cross-border European interest.

The provisional programme is as follows:

Friday 26 May, arrival, informal dinner in the Hotel Bristol (at delegate’s own cost).

Saturday 27 May, conference in the museum starting at 9 am, with a break for lunch, followed by evening dinner in the museum (both meals are included in the conference fee of €100).

Sunday 28 May, depending on demand, there may be additional presentations in the morning, followed by lunch, and the option of a visit to another museum in the afternoon (lunch and excursion at delegate’s own cost).

ACCOMMODATION

Rooms have provisionally been reserved in the Hotel Bristol, 18 Avenue de Colmar, 68100 Mulhouse, France tel. +33 (0)3 89 42 12 31.

The provisional cost for bed and breakfast, from Friday to Sunday, is €75 for a single room per night, and €86 for a double room per night. Hotel accommodation must be booked and paid for by delegates individually. Please book directly with the hotel, by telephone/letter/e-mail (but NOT from other non-hotel websites) quoting booking code “Ulrich”. Extra nights can be booked as required.
