SLIDER: Bentley S1 Continental Park Ward coupé

This is one of the rarer versions of the Bentley S1 Continental, bodied by Park Ward in this 2-door coupé design.  The same body was initially fitted to a very small number of the earlier R-Type Continentals.

The S1 Continental was made from 1955 to 1959, with a high-compression version of its 4,887cc IOE straight six.

This was the final use of this engine; it was replaced for the S2 and S2 Continental by the alloy V8 that is still found today in the Bentley Mulsanne.
