We are pleased to announce that ‘Carscapes: the motor car, architecture and landscape in England’ by Kathryn A. Morrison and John Minnis has won the prestigious Michael Sedgwick Award for 2013. The award plaque was presented to the authors during the SAHB AGM and Autumn Seminar on 20th October. The authors also share £250 generously given with the award by the Michael Sedgwick Trust. The award is given to a new book in English on aspects of British motoring history.
Photographed after the award presentation at the Hunt House, Paulerspury, are SAHB Chairman Peter Card, the authors, and Dr. Craig Horner (Chairman of the Award panel).
